Before you apply to join as a volunteer please take a moment to consider the following

• For insurance purposes you need to be 18 or older to participate in T-Walk or T-Drop

• Individuals volunteering for T-Drop may be interacting with potentially vulnerable members of society.  This can be a troubling experience for some of our volunteers and if you feel you may struggle with the mental resilience required to participate we would recommend an alternative volunteering role.

• Not sure if it's for you ?  Don't worry sometimes individuals need to experience something new a few times to see if they like it.  On your initial outing, your Team Leader will be there to answer any questions you have, set expectations on what will happen and check in before you leave to ensure your experience hasn't been adverse.  

• Frequency of volunteering is down to the individual.  A commit of 1 outing every 3 months is our minimum.  Most volunteers try to go out once a month however this varies depending on family, work, social commitments.  Our only ask is that if you apply for an outing and confirm to attend, if you need to cancel at the last moment due to an emergency that is completely understandable and should take priority, however we ask that you give us ample notice as our team numbers are small and less volunteers can result in cancelling part of our services if we have insufficient numbers to run the teams safely.

• Team Leaders will provide guidance to ensure volunteers remain together and don't expose themselves to unnecessary risk.  We ask you listen to your Team Leaders at all times.
